Designated public office holders should also be given an ID number with 2 parts. 1 for the individual, and 1 for the office they hold. Many go on to hold various posts, which need to be discernible. It is unacceptable that a DPOH appears in the lobby registry with 7-8 spelling variations of their name, making it analogous to intentional obfuscation of the data. i.e. https://lobbycanada.gc.ca/app/secure/ocl/lrs/do/dpohLstg?pfx=F#:~:text=FINDLAY%2C%20HON.%20HON,KERRY%20LYNNE%20D. DPOHs should be in a public registry - if they are lobbied or not, as this status as a DPOH is used in other reporting requirements. If OCL doesn't want to maintain that data than it should be added to requirements for gc depts under Part 1 of the ATIA (Infosource), but OCL must adopt the ID number.
